Back to Business
And just like that the lazy days are over
Here we go - May comes and people start wanting photos. This off-season felt especially long. I’m happy to be busy again but man, I’m exhausted. I had a wedding on Saturday, head shots and family shots on Monday, and a maternity shoot on Tuesday. Fun shoots all around. Had a little bit of rain, a whole lot of wind, and a couple of really nice sunsets.
On Saturday I shot a wedding at one of my favorite venues, The Everlee in Acton, Maine. It rained almost the entire day so there we a lot of limitations but I had a fun. Things got REALLY rowdy on the dance floor. There was a t-shirt cannon! There was literally beer spraying everywhere. I’ve never felt so compelled to deep clean cameras immediately immediately after a shoot day before.
Monday I had a shoot at Kettle Cove. It started as head shots and then expanded to include family shots and dog stuff too.
Then, last night I had a maternity shoot with one of my 2025 wedding couples. It was great to catch up with them and dump a bunch of unsolicited parenting advice on them. They are so much better off now knowing my secrets to parenting success like “Take naps when you can.” Really helpful stuff, right?
I’m too tired to be clever here but I hope you like the photos. I have more shoots next week and we’ll hopefully be visiting our first-ever Renaissance Faire. I think I might bring some film to that and see what happens.
I think there’s one more week to see ARTPM at Buoy Gallery in Kittery and I still have postcard sets and sale prints available. Link HERE! Goodnight!
